If you do a quick Google search for "different fashion styles" you'll see an interesting bunch of results all claiming to tackle the tall task. So what does this all mean to you?
Even if you could care less about fashion you are a part of it. Unless you walk around naked everyday chances are that you will fit into a particular style category. Don't believe me, take a Goth person and put them into a suit and tie or vice versa.
You can dress how you feel or dress how you want to feel. There's a saying that "the clothes make the man", if this is true then you have to remember that you ultimately decide what you want to wear everyday. You don't have to stay in one lane if you don't want to.
If you look at fashion as a form of art (which it is), you might find it enlightening to get to know the different types of fashion styles just as you would get to know the different periods of art. Explore different styles and unleash different sides of you that you never knew existed.
